My plan is for 19 inch STI rims, de chroming and de badging. After that? Not sure. I was considering a piggyback ecu and a Blitz cat back exhaust, but apparently its a bit complicated and costly to make tuning mods in Norway...

Welcome here. There is another chap from Norway in here, and I'm sure he'll introduce thyself soon. IIRC he did mod his 'Vorg a bit, too :)

[edit]Well, looks like you found Stumpvold already :D

What are you waiting for to set up a meet ?
Set that up on SDCN and invite all the other Subaru drivers :p
Or just the Subaru station wagon if you fear that'd be too many people :p

Wont be that many Subaru's at all, tried setting up some meets before, and people barely show up.

Ok, not done much to my Levorg over the winter, since the weather has been crap and I dont have a garage.

She has been washed every week, had two exterior detailings (one just polish and one over all buffing with Autoglym paint restoring compound, de badging and waxing with Autoglym polish), been de badged, had her front fog lamp chrome bits plasti dipped (the only bits I was brave enough to try when the weather was so bad) and had several stone chips touched in (a couple of which were starting to rust).

Sorry, but for some reason I cant upload pics. So pics soon...

Ok, just finished doing a wee chrome delete on my motor. Used plasti dip ultrasonic blue, and although a little light in shaed, I think it turned out ok?F1B4E5A7-D8D1-4E39-9453-D778573C505B.jpeg 7DB5EA5D-59F7-4F24-A195-26DD5A25D9DC.jpeg

Yeah, so Ive been up to something... The Norwegian winter, a multitude of stone chips and the rigours of pressure washing have ruined the plasti dip on my stock grille.

So, I bit the bullet and sourced a JDM one from JapanParts. Sounds good, right? Well, yes... but It has a chrome bezel and although I love the JDM grille, I effing hate chrome.

So this happened; I dismantled the grille, wrapped the offending shiny bits with carbon look vinyl and re assembled! Just awaiting the front lip and then its time to strip off the bumper and get busy!90DED2D6-B2A9-42BD-A0B1-D1934A17F165.jpeg DA222CEA-5246-4D63-BEE6-8B33CC7A8792.jpeg

Yeah, well everything else is chrome free :D

I forgot to mention; I also fitted new exhaust tips, blacked out the silver fake carbon fibre with plasti dip and have completely de chromed everywhere else;

Oh! AND fitted aero splash guards.

My 19s are off being repaired and refurbed too! Dotz Touge in 8x19. And Im planning on wrapping the roof and mirrors gloss black, once spring finally gets here...

68AB3260-E9A8-48CB-9CDF-748FE1602232.jpeg ok... Turns out that watery slush is not condusive to mechanical grip. Also Norwegian winter driving is no joke. Plus my theory that the 17s plus 215/50/17 Conti VikingContact5 tyres is a shitty combo turned out to be valid.

Yes, I stuffed my beloved Vorg into a tree today. Im ok, but my heart is well and truly broken.

At this stage its 50/50 if she will be written off or not.

Happy you're okay but also sad about the car.
Doesn't seem that bad but probably some hidden damages.
Depending on how far in the tree hit, you may have bent the frame.
Hopefully it's not that bad. just some plastics, hood and fender.

Good news! She will be repaired!! I only did 13,000 EUR worth of damage...

Right on the limit of scrapping her, it seems, but she will be back on the road! She will also be repaired by Subaru (at least the agent for Subaru here in Norway) so I know she is in safe hands!
