Well how do I put this, Oh my god wow. The bounce is gone, and I don't juts mean on big undulations. Of course it is a little bit stiffer, but, that is to be expected, the ride is still very comfy, but the entire back end is just brilliant now. Another thing.........not sure if any of you noticed but there is a knock on the front when you hit dips in the road, not even big dips........that it entirely gone too.

I can't recommend getting this done at your earliest time possible. Josh is awesome too, he listens and sets the car exactly how you want it. The other cool thing, I can play with the stiffness when ever I want.

I do believe I am building one of the best Wagon you will get.

Big shout out to MCA suspension and Josh for making my car 100% more pleasurable and more importantly fun and a lot safer.

    Happy days.

Spent some time yesterday with various mechanics and suspension guys comparing cars (in case it was just mine) only to conclude that this was how Subaru intended it to be. So now I'm in discussions with fulcrum suspension about this. I will see what they come back with and then decide if I should just go to MCA instead, now they've done one.

What was the final price and do you have any specs (height change, spring rates, damping coefficients)?

Not sure, I think if I remember correct it was 6kilos on the front and 8 at the rear. You will need to contact MCA for a price mate. You won't pay what I did as I offered my car as their test bed etc. I know the XR series are $2050 and then you have labour and wheel alignment.

It's so worth it though. I can't say that enough.

Also completed the matt black plastic dip on the alloys, temporary till I need new tyres and will get different alloys, thinking 265 at the rear and 245 at the front.

I'm getting on-board the MCA XR bus to, can't believe the ride as described, is deemed suitable by Subaru?

    The stock suspension is terrible.
A huge thanks to Josh and the team at MCA for making my Levorg a lot safer to drive... the difference is truely amazing :D
All I can say is if anyone wants good coil overs then MCA is my recommendation and they ship worldwide too ;)

Is it a problem across the whole range any other Spec B owners care to comment?

It certainly is an issue in Australia. The Bilstein suspension (included on the spec b and the GTS) here is "custom tuned" to suit or local conditions. http://www.subaru.com.au/active/around-corner/subaru-levorg-testing-australia

I have a GTS and had a couple of visits to my local dealer about this. At first we thought it was just my car but then we did some back to back testing with a demo spec b and decided that it was "the way Subaru intended".

It's totally refreshing to read Subaru's spiel on the website you provided yet the only problem is i don't agree with Subaru Australia entirely nor am i alone.
I particularly enjoyed viewing the picture of the Levorg sitting upon the 'Esses' at Mt Panorama albeit some what suggestive to the un-aware viewer.
Before i upgraded the stock suspension, i too took my factory issued Levorg for a trip around the speed limited 60km/p/hr Mt Panorama circuit. I certainly had no rebound issue's or white knuckle moments. One wouldn't expect that to happen from a pristine road surface of race track construction.

No matter what 'buzz' words may be used by Subaru, facts will be 'facts'. I drove the Levorg on some of Australia's most unforgiving roads (which happen to be some what of a standard unfortunately) both before suspension upgrade and drove the same roads after suspension upgrade and i can tells ya ;) that i now feel 100% safer for replacing the factory issued Subaru approved suspension.

Aussie GTS Spec-B here - and totally agree that the Bilstein suspension in this car is uber-crap... Worst I've experienced on a new car. Even my girlfriend's Kia 4WD SUV drives better over bumps than this does... Looks the goods, goes kind of OK (not tuned yet) but suspension and steering really missed the mark. I'll be looking at MCAs as well, and a larger adjustable rear sway as minimum.

    Hi Leigh

You won’t look back. I doubt you will need the rear strut but you will be able to tell once you have the coil overs installed.

I am running 4 clicks at the front and 5 clicks at the rear now and think it’s the right settings for me.

Let us know how you go :)

Thanks Nick... Will do the rear sway, but not the strut brace as that affects the use of the wagon space... Thanks for the setting info :)
