We've seen several posts about other owners vinyl wrapping these parts and or using pin stripe tape or plastidip but has anyone looked into ordering genuine replacement colour coded mirror caps or moldings?

I figure at the price of the Chargespeed products or alternatives from eBay OEM is worth considering... unless it only comes as a whole mirror assembly in which case painting might be another viable option.

Info on part numbers or prices would be appreciated.

All now fitted - side profile blackout complete, bit of a tidy up and pics to follow pending a wash!

Passenger side mirror with the camera was a pain but got there in the end without any major casualties.

I replaced the chrome door trims very quickly, and used the genuine trims from Subaru (believe they are from the XV). Makes a huge difference. Pricey, but again fitted by and warrantied by Subaru.

Mirrors - silver against a white Levorg don't stand out anywhere near as much on the other colours, so I'm not too stressed about them just yet - thinking I might have them done in White Carbon Fibre vinyl wrap. Will have the rear chrome strip done in black carbon wrap vinyl too (and maybe the bonnet intake scoop and roof rear end piece that the STi roof spoiler sits on).

Leigh did you personally replace the chrome door trims quickly or did a Subaru service centre person do the replacement quickly for a pricey value?

I used Black Vinyl to wrap over the window trim, makes a huge difference to the look. Also purchased the official Subaru mirror covers in black from Japan Parts. Messed around with vinyl wrap on the mirrors but this was easier and a nicer uniform finish. Would definitely recommend spending a few extra dollars for it.
