Give him some time, mate ;)

It's like 8:30PM where he is (check the time at Istanbul, Turkey) and it's Sunday. He's likely out with the family or something.

His profile state he was connected here this morning, so unless he got run over by a drunk kebab truck driver, he should be back here soon :p

I am not fully sure what @ozkan bicer is selling or whether this is a cutom development. From the web page it looks like he's mainly selling services for Subaru in Turkey. The web page however is in Turkish and I don't understand much except the pictures ;). However seems to be legit service he's offering.

About the window roll-up/down and mirror folder modules I have been able to spot something on the chinese market too. Have a look at this here. The link is about a module advertised for the Levorg. Not sure if the cabling is different for other models but there is similar offerings for various Subaru modles like the XV. This module seems to be physically identical to the first one and provides a bit more information in the description in very bad english:

Function 1
Locking car,the window will lift automatically. Remote to press the lock key of original car key 4 Windows are raised at the same time.(Two windows lift together)

Function 2
Remote to drop the windows. After engine off ,press twice the unlock key, press and hold in second time,4 windows drop at the same time,(Two windows drop together),You can open the window in advance to the car ventilation.

Function 3
Remote control pauses when window is lifted. Press the unlock button to pause the window to lift when in an emergency,Protecting passengers from being injured by pinch.

Function 4
Remote control pauses when the window drops. Press the lock or lock key, the window will be suspended in the drop.

Function 5
The main driving operation press the button up or down 4 windows,Pull up the window button up 0.5 seconds, the window automatically lift to the top,Press the window control button, the window will automatically down to the end.the original car function is not affected.

Function 6
Four windows left seam ventilation. After engine off,Press the lock-unlock-lock, 4 windows will drop about 50px of space to ensure ventilation inside the car.

Function 7
Smart second lifting window. When the remote drop window ventilation,Press the unlock key twice, once again lifting window, Good ventilation and cooling function.

Also the key combinations look the same as shown in videos of @ozkan bicer.

Also a sunroof closing module which needs to be installed in the sunroof controls area can be found here. I think it was mentioned in the thread here too.
However the module does not allow you to open the sunroof via key fob. It will basically just assure the sunroof is always closed when the car is parked as it will close the sunroof 3 seconds after the engine is turned off (I guess after ignition is off rather, not on start/stop).

I think those modules are pretty handy. Even more for car rental companies etc. just to assure the cars are firmly locked and windows closed when parked. I personally would enjoy my Levorg to fold the mirrors and eventually close the windows when locked. Even though I usually never open the windows while driving.

Being able to remotely open all windows might be handy too and I was used to this function on my previous car (VAG/Seat Leon).
I also tend to forget closing the sunroof when parking my car so I have to re-enable ignition to close it manually.

I did order a set as well. In fact both modules, the window control and mirror folder as well as the roof window closer.

First I tried to install the roof window closing module but failed because they have sent me the wrong harness. In fact the module is plugged directly at the drive motor plug. It's a bit hard to get in there. You need first to remove the map lights module with the controls. In fact I did a how-to in this thread even though it's related to microphone issues. You might wat to check both in one step too.
After removing the map lights compartment you can see the roof window motor right underneath (or on top actually). The motor for my EUDM MY2016 Levorg is branded webasto and got it's connector on the left (driver side, LHD model). To disconnect the cable you can stick in with a flathead screwdriver and push out the connector. To ease things you might lower the ceiling a bit by removing the "gasket" around the roof window (yes, just pull it off).

However in my case they have shipped the wrong cabling. I actually ordered the one for Subaru XV 2018 here but asked them to check the harness. In fact my motor connector looks exactly like the one on the product picture. Even the dark gray color is the same. Unfortunately they sent me a module which has a "Levorg" sticker on it but the harness seems to be from the Forester/Outback model. It looks like this harness here. So it does not fit. I have asked the seller to send me the XV/2018 cable instead.

There is actually a second connector and Subaru just sticked in some sort of "adapter cable" from this connector to the roof window motor. But neither of those connectors are compatible with what I got. According to the mounting instructions they prefer to interface directly with the drive motor connector.

Another side-note... The module seems to offer auto-closing after 3 seconds when you turn off the engine. But it's instructions also list a mode where you can get the roof closed when you lock the car. Unfortunately there seems to be no "lock" signal up there on the roof harness. So you would have to run the signal wire all the way from the door via A-Pillar to the roof window module. Not a huge deal but I am not sure yet if I would like to get this installed.

The window roll-up/down module was simple to install. It's just plug-and-play and I see low risk of installing it. In worst case your driver door might not unlock if something is wrong with the cable or bad wiring/module might occur in the future. As well as of course failing to roll your windows up/down.

To install it you of course need to remove the driver-side door cover which is simple to do:
  • Remove the Philips screw underneath the plastic cover inside the door opening handle molding
  • Remove the Philips screw underneath the plastic cover inside the door hande molding
  • Pull off the cover from the bottom or use some pry tool - yes they sit pretty firmly and you might break some of them
  • After releasing the clips lift the dor handle up to release it from the upper side (it's just hung in from the top/window side
Be careful not to pull off the cover too much in order not do damage any wires or the door unlock cables. Carefully lift it at the bottom and then pull the whole thing up slightly and put it on some support stand or ask a friend to hold it up while you're disconnecting everything if you need to. I found it actually easier to unscrew the door lock handle entirely from the door cover rather than to release the cables from the handle. But to install this module I didn't even release anything, just gently pulled the door and disconnected the wires and installed the adapters.

It's a surprising large amount of cabling you have to snap into but the harness provides Y-style connectors for all of them. So you can't do anything wrong as all the connectors are different. You need to plug in the harness to the doorlock actuator, the window control connectors as well as to the mirror folder/control unit. On the other side the harness has a quite beefy connector which goes into the module itself. The module actually isn't much more than a bunch of relays in a box. You need to find a suitable place inside the door cover to mount it. I trashed the included double-sided tape in favor of some super-sticky velcro as it was not sticky enough and I was basically unable to find a large flat surface. The best place I figured out was on the bottom side of the door cover but you can put it everywhere. The harness also includes a 30A fuse. Keep this in mind in case your power windows do not work any more, it might be a blown fuse not only in your fuse box but inside your door!

The module works as expected, all functions I tried work fine, including automatically closing all windows when locking the car (along with folding the mirrors) or rolling down the windows all together on keypress. You can also interrupt the rollup/down process to keep the windows half-way open. The lock-unlock-lock function might be handy sometimes as well, it's leaving the windows open just about 1-2cm so you have some airflow.

If you got dogs or even your kids waiting in the car for a short time you might use unlock-unlock-lock combination to lock the car intentionally without closing the windows.

I personally like that my Levorg now assures that my mirrors are folded and all windows are closed when I lock it.
What I don't like too much is that those modules are not configurable at all. For example I cannot simply activate/deactivate the mirror folding function by programming it or even more simple by setting a jumper on the module.

It's an LHD. I think someone in this thread said it matters at least for the window kit as the cabling might be different. For the roof window module I don't think it matters.
I have told the vendor that I am having an LHD model and at least for the window kit I got the right set of cables.

Another update...

I talked to the vendor who sent me the roof window closing module labeled "Levorg" which did not work. As I asked them to send me the one actually shown on aliexpress picture which seem to have the right connectors the told me actually not the cable but also the relais module is different.
Nevertheless I asked them to send over the one for Outback which seems to have the right connectors.

So they sent a new moule and cabling. In fact the replacement cabling looks promising. It is a 1:1 fit to my webasto window drive motor. However the module did not close the roof window when attaching it as-is. I heard the relais clicking but no action on the window.

I opened it up and had a look at the circuit. Out of curiosity I also opened the one labelled "Levorg" and indeed they are different. The one for Levorg only contains a single relais while the new one for Outback has two of them.
Basically what they do is to use permanent 12V and drive the ACC pin on the motor and then they try to pull one of the signal pins to ground with the second relais.

Unfortunately according to the Levorg wiring diagram there are 3 wires involved in open/close and up/down actions. It also looks the module is just designed to "close" the window, not to flip it down if it was in "up" position which I would like to have too.

So what I did is: I did some modifications to the relais module so I now have basically 2 independent relais. The configured switching order was (Relais with A-B-C pins):
- Initially both relais off (A-B pins Bridged)
- Relais 1 on (B-C pins)
- Relais 2 on (B-C pins bridged)
- Relais 2 off (A-B pins bridged)
- Relais 1 off (A-B pins bridged)

So I used Relais 1 to feed battery 12V into ACC of the drive motor and also using this signal to feed it on pin B of the second relais which would alternatively power the "down" and "close" signal inputs.

Unfortunately it was not as easy as I thought. The internal roof window switches of the Levorg will bridge two of the pins so powering the "close" pin only will short-circuit and power the "open" pin too which results in "up" action on the motor:
Pin1, Pin2, Pin3
On, Off, Off: Open
Off, On, Off: Close
On, On, Off: Up
Off, Off, On: Down

So I have simply added some diodes to avoid powering the other pins via the control panel.

Unfortunately not even this worked reliably as I found the drive motor does require some delay on operation. So it's not possible to put ACC on and directly feed the "down" signal. Instead it will do nothing. But when feeding ACC, waiting a second and then power the "down" signal it works. Even worse even when switching from "down" to "close" signal a delay is required. Simply using the relais to switch between those signals does not work. So either I would need a different relais module which has individual relais for each signal pin and a delay between each other or simply omit the "down" signal and accept the module can only close the window but not lower when in "up" position.

I didn't like this so I started experimenting... I have added a very basic hack using some capacitor and load resistor to build up charge slowly. This ramps up the voltage on the actuator pins slow enough for the drive motor to accept it.

So now I have a module which in sequence powers the actions:
- Power on ACC on sunroof motor
- After some delay power "down" pin to lower the window if in "up" position
- Relais switches to "close" pin
- After some delay the "close" pin gets sufficient voltage to initiate the closing procedure

So no matter in which position my roof window is it will always completely close now.

It works for me now but I guess the module on aliexpress might not fit all Levorg models (my one is MY16 EUDM, LHD, Webasto roof window motor).

Still the window close and mirror folder module just works plug-and-play.

I checked with the AliExpress seller and they only do LHD. Anyone else manage to successfully order one of these units in RHD market from anywhere?
