Dear members hello,

i am a new member of this forum. I have a question about my cars firm suspensions. i hope someone can help me.
my previous car was impreza station, new one is levorg. this cars suspensions are tighter than impreza. as a sport car i understand easily this but sometimes when you pass over speed reduction constructions on road or some stone roads all comfort of car is going away and car is shaking if your speed is more than 20 km. i want to change these firm suspensions. what do you think about the alternative solutions.

Regards,

Menderes

Could it be your old impreza suspension were just worn and wobbly, while the ones from the levorg are just new and working fine ? :)

I agree, I just had MCA coilovers installed and they are great. It handles better, and drivers over speed humps etc like a normal car! !!

No, the rrp is $2500 plus install, I paid $2450 including install from DHF tyres in hallam, Melbourne. They were great to deal with I would recommend them if you are in Melbourne?

That I am ✊
I’ve been thinking about the Silvers Neomax S myself, not 100% decided yet though. Install seems pretty easy (6 bolts and a clip each corner) so was looking to do that myself then just pay for an alignment. Whereabouts in Melbourne you from robo?

Your typical set of Chinese/Taiwanese Coilovers will never be as comfortable as Kyb shocks with OEM springs. How many people set & forget Coilovers? How many people know how to set them up correctly? Fit wrx 245 tyres. Be thankful you Levorg don’t share the bum-dragging that affects almost every gen 4 liberty!

Yeah I like that lil module too, not sure where to source one yet though, especially for a RHD as I believe the wiring is different from LHD.

We’ll have to organise a meet. I’d be interested to see the difference. If you’re open to it!

Yeah I'm down, I'm interested to see the difference myself. I almost went with the Neomax S too. It's such a hard decision to make when its all guesswork because they cant be sampled before purchase. If we meet up like you say and take each other for a spin, then everyone else on here can get two reviews by two different people who have experienced both sets of coilovers, way more helpful than individuals being happy with their individual purchase coz lets face it, anything is going to feel better than that standard Bilstein rubbish we were all lumped with ey. Whereabouts are you located?

It would be cool if someone did have a set of Neo's that could come along and we can compare. I haven't upgraded yet, I'm still undecided on Neo's or MCA. I guess my only consideration was price, seems there's about a $500 difference between them (fitted). I'm down in Frankston

Ah I obviously confused you with someone else, I thought you had the Neomax installed and just wanted to compare, as I would too. I ordered MCA Pro Comforts yesterday, Josh said he’d ship them to me in 10 days, and I’ve spoken to a Tyre shop to have them fitted soon after. I posted on another thread to see if people would be willing to take me for a spin on their Neomax and MCA’s, but got no response :( lol. It is so hard to choose between products that you can’t sample first, so there’s no way of knowing which is right for you, making it a bit of a gamble. I was leaning towards the Neomax myself, but I rang Josh at MCA to speak about them and he spent over an hour talking with me and answering all my questions. He makes each set himself, made to order, and has 3 year warranty which covers more than the Neomax, so I ended up biting the bullet and ordered from him direct. I could have got them through the Tyre shop for $100 less but really felt like giving Josh the full ammount in appreciation of his service. So I end up paying $2250 for the Pro Comforts and $300 for install, alignment and two free adjustments at DHF Tyres in Hallam. Total of $2550, if I ordered through the tyre shop it would total $2450 like Robo paid. I’ve read that people had paid over $800 for fitting so was definitely going to install myself and then just pay for an alignment, but that was when I thought I’d be saving myself $200 per corner, for $50 per corner I’m happy to have the pros do it ;)
So having said all that, when they are installed I’d be more than happy to take you, or anyone else, for a spin so you can sample before you buy. I see that both ‘Doogz32’ and ‘Gerald Reyes’ both have the Neomax S, don’t know where everyone is located, but a hook up and test drives would certainly help the decision making process for you if others are down for it. I’m around Lilydale in Victoria, Robo is in Blackburn South Victoria with MCA’s too. Where you at?

Wow, you’ve done some serious homework. Thanks for the info. It’s really appreciated.
Im looking forward to hearing about the first drive and how they’re settling in.

it would be sick if we could meet up and I could check them out. I’m in Frankston so heading up east link isn't a problem.
