Im looking forward to hearing about the first drive and how they’re settling in.

it would be sick if we could meet up and I could check them out. I’m in Frankston so heading up east link isn't a problem.

G’day Nang, well, MCA’s arrived from Brisvegas yesterday, had them fitted today, one word...WOW! Early days as they still have to settle for about a week, then I go back and they readjust the heights and redo the wheel alignment. The dampers were set at 10 front and 10 rear for street, not a huge difference in firmness from stock, but rear rebound floating issue is100% gone, and I don’t have to almost stop at speed bumps to avoid my dash falling into my lap anymore so woohoo I drove a strip of road near my house that has a string of undulations in it on three different damper settings. Stock it would roll around left to right and rebound severely, now with the MCA’s, each undulation is dealt with immediately and the car is set for the next which it now promptly deals with too I’ve now set them to street performance, 4 clicks front and 6 rear and will trial that till Monday when I get the heights and alignment readjusted. Will be going for a cruise through the Black Spur and Marysville on Saturday so will get a better idea of things then and will update you afterwards. But for now even after just spending an hour on them I can tell they’re gunna make me wanna drive this car again because it’s so much more enjoyable, the suspension was my only grievance with the Levorg and it really got to the point after 3.5years where I just didn’t feel like driving it just for the sake of driving it anymore. Which sux coz that’s why we buy these sorts of cars right! After this week I’ve got a couple of weeks holiday, going cruising for 4 days with what feels like ‘my new car again’. We can organise to hook up n chat n take you for a spin sometime after that if you’re still interested.

Awesome mate, that’s so good to hear!! Man, once I’m past all this warranty work on mine I think I’ll hit the place you went to and get a set.
Still keen to try em out when you get a chance. No rush, I won’t be getting a set until later this year. Partner wants the Reno’s done before I spend anymore on the car haha

Still keen to try em out when you get a chance. No rush, I won’t be getting a set until later this year. Partner wants the Reno’s done before I spend anymore on the car haha

True true, Funny that, I paid for these coilovers with the money I saved from quiting smoking for 5 months ;)

Quick update on them
I measured my fender gaps (top of tyre to bottom of fender) before and after fitment of the MCA's
Before was 25mm on all corners except the passenger front, which was 35mm (apparently a normal variation)
After fitment 25mm drivers front (no change), 30mm Passenger front (5mm drop)
Rear Right 15mm (10mm drop) and Rear Left 11mm (14mm drop)
First adjustment (during fitting) they set to approx the ride height you're looking for, then they align the wheels and leave the car for 1 week (approx) for the coilovers to settle from the weight of the car. Then I go back when the settling phase is complete and they set the height to exactly what I want because they wont change after the settling (seating) period is complete.
I measured again today, about 30 hrs after fitting, and already they have dropped. Front Right dropped 5mm now down to 20mm, Front Left dropped 5mm down to 25mm, Rear Right dropped 2mm down to 13mm, and Rear Left dropped 11mm to zero gap, I couldn't get the ruler in lol
He said I would see it dropping and how true, it looks great so low, not practical for me though as a daily drive, so I'm just going to enjoy my new Low-Rider for the week until the readjustment where I'm thinking of going for about a 10-12mm gap all round. Till then I've got 4 more days to see how low she'll go ;)
Who knew about this settling period? Not me, but I do now. Went to bed last night and woke to a lower car in the morning lol

Thanks for all the updates mate. I honestly had no idea of a “settling in period”. Buts awesome waking up to a lowered car.

Ah I obviously confused you with someone else, I thought you had the Neomax installed and just wanted to compare, as I would too. I ordered MCA Pro Comforts yesterday, Josh said he’d ship them to me in 10 days, and I’ve spoken to a Tyre shop to have them fitted soon after. I posted on another thread to see if people would be willing to take me for a spin on their Neomax and MCA’s, but got no response :( lol. It is so hard to choose between products that you can’t sample first, so there’s no way of knowing which is right for you, making it a bit of a gamble. I was leaning towards the Neomax myself, but I rang Josh at MCA to speak about them and he spent over an hour talking with me and answering all my questions. He makes each set himself, made to order, and has 3 year warranty which covers more than the Neomax, so I ended up biting the bullet and ordered from him direct. I could have got them through the Tyre shop for $100 less but really felt like giving Josh the full ammount in appreciation of his service. So I end up paying $2250 for the Pro Comforts and $300 for install, alignment and two free adjustments at DHF Tyres in Hallam. Total of $2550, if I ordered through the tyre shop it would total $2450 like Robo paid. I’ve read that people had paid over $800 for fitting so was definitely going to install myself and then just pay for an alignment, but that was when I thought I’d be saving myself $200 per corner, for $50 per corner I’m happy to have the pros do it ;)
So having said all that, when they are installed I’d be more than happy to take you, or anyone else, for a spin so you can sample before you buy. I see that both ‘Doogz32’ and ‘Gerald Reyes’ both have the Neomax S, don’t know where everyone is located, but a hook up and test drives would certainly help the decision making process for you if others are down for it. I’m around Lilydale in Victoria, Robo is in Blackburn South Victoria with MCA’s too. Where you at?
Yep I had the Neomax S installed. They've been pretty good so far, anything would've been better than factory. MCA seems to get good reviews as well and for the price you pay, I wouldn't be surprised if they felt even better than Neomax. I'm based in Canberra, so happy to meet and greet and let you folks test the Neomax S for comparison, try out different settings using the hard/soft dials, etc, if you happen to come up.

Just spotted this kit for the Levorg, it's an adjustable damper kit by TEIN. Not sure if it can be fitted to the std shocks or if they need a specific coilover.
The EDFC Active Pro full kit is 77,550JPY or in AUD is $928.00

Yeah quite a few manufacturers supply these units. I looked at them myself as it would be awesome to adjust on the fly without opening the bonnet and removing rear trims to get to the adjusters, but alas with the Levorg that's \the only option. The location of the rear struts doesn't allow fitment of these motors while retaining the ability to use the floor panels, as there is zero extra clearance between the top of the coilover adjuster knob and the floor panel as it is. They could be fitted but you wouldn't be able to put the floor panel pieces back on which would leave the motors sitting above floor level getting smashed anytime you put anything in the back :(
