    Infuriating Rattle…Solved!

Ok so update, I've put the interior back together and the rattle is gone, just as importantly I didn't create any new rattles during the process, so Mission Success. The iPhone photos weren't much chop so I took better ones with my DSLR today. Pretty much took a photo of every stage and every...

    Infuriating Rattle…Solved!

So, I’ve had a rattle for a while now. Couldn’t for the life of me work out where it was coming from. I HATE RATTLES! It wasn’t too bad at the start but continued to worsen and change its sound. At first I thought it was the passenger front dash tweeter cover, as I had that problem in my MY15...

    G'day from Victoria Australia

I meant if the Coilovers don’t go high enough for you, then you could add spacers as well to get a bit more, bit of a double dip

    G'day from Victoria Australia

When I say handling won’t be as good if you lift it, that’s only in comparison to the your Levorg now, not in comparison to an SUV. I would think a lifted Levorg will still handle better than a Forrester as it’s not only the height that affects the handling. Lifted or lowered it’s still gunna...

    Wheel spacers?

G'day No experience with that particular brand. But provided they are good quality and strong they'll be the same either or. Handling will be improved due to wider stance and less body roll, as to looks they sit behind the wheel and won't look much different anyway. I had some custom made from...

I agree, I’m not a fan of the new model either. I understand the CBF, man I reckon you’ve spent as much time at the dealer as some of their staff! Lol

You pretty much nailed it. Definitely the looks. Lower centre of gravity reduces body roll and improves handling, spacers widen the stance further reducing weight transference and body roll. Lowered around 15-20mm, I don’t have a flat surface to remeasure on yet as my garage is full of...

Yeah that’s a real shame, you have been a lot more unlucky than most I must say. Hopefully you haven’t been burnt off Levorgs totally, maybe another Levorg will treat you better, they’re generally very good, maybe you were the lucky one that scored a lemon :(

    Struts vs Coilovers

How’d you know I was a telepath? You must be one too lol No it’s definitely not just you, it’s just Levorg owners unfortunately. But rest assured the horizon holds bliss and you won’t believe how green the grass becomes. You’ll fall in love with the car all over again, they’re just that good!

Yeah I much prefer the look of the mesh (same as the Rex) and the smaller chrome sits better with me too. So these Reno’s…they done yet LOL When are we gunna see some MCA’s tucked under your baby?

    Struts vs Coilovers

Great choice, you’ll love em. The guys at DHF are awesome too. That noise at the front you had was guaranteed to be the top hat, probably on the left front side too ;)

    Only one reverse tail light?

Yeah we always travel just before or just after school holidays for that reason. We did the 6 day hike at Cradle Mountain, and drove around the North, west and south. Gotta go back and do the east side at some stage, COVID permitting of course. Spirit of Tas ramps is a good point mate, made it...

    Only one reverse tail light?

Awesome job Tassie ;) All states should follow that lead. Went to Tassie last year, took the Levorg, but had bilsteins at the time, their roads can be as bad as ours, it will be interesting to take it back with the MCA’s

Seems my missus agrees with your misses, I was able to smash the curves with no car sickness complaints lmao Got DHF to fit 20mm wheel spacers on all four while they did the suspension too, that new wide stance has removed even more body roll, love the handling ;)

You know it! The MCA's made in June this year have tweaked internals, and they are soo much better than the previous ones. Feels like a totally different car, I'm lovinit again ;) I hear you'll be getting the new ones too soon ey ;)

    Only one reverse tail light?

Wow that’s madness. I wasn’t critisizing my government, Vic government has done a great job, NSW government sounds more like your government, it’s NSW I was criticising. Their lack of action has forced other states who have just come out of lockdown back in. Maybe different over there, but here...
