Sorry was just trying to help, I see no one else offered to and now I see why.

The vehicle and pedestrian detection is done via the stereo eyesight cameras, and when they see something it lights up in the glass mirror not the black edge which will change to clear when you put these in. You can always remove them if you don't like them?
