Fuel Filter

According to Service Booklet, the fuel filter should be replaced after 80K miles or 8 years.

Car is coming up for 8 years but mileage is only 54K miles. Filter replacement looks expensive both in terms of parts and labour. The car is running without any issues so is it worth leaving replacement till 80K? Only run on Shell V-Power so should not have picked up any rubbish.

Id only replace it if you have issues.
Where is the fuel filter on these

It's inside the fuel tank! Access is under the back seat.Won't bother to touch it while I don't need to.

If its like the impreza, it'll be easy as pie. Just make sure you have minimal fuel in the tank
