Virg, can you tell me how to open this thing. I extracted the zip and saw the index file. I clicked on it and it opened in my browser (I tried Edge and Firefox). Nice. It shows a landing page with a dropdown and a nice graphic but none of the links open anything. What am I doing wrong?

Yeah, I wrote to Japan and USA Pioneers...still no reply but its only been a couple days.

Lmao. May be the wrong place to ask but you appear to be informed...do you know where I can get a replacement ribbon cable that attaches to the screen? I don't know the product number and a search for Carrozzeria Pioneer AVIC-RZ09 isnt showing anything specific.

Are you describing the ETC reader? That voice talks on start up but the regular Japanese voice speaks whilst I'm driving. Also, I can still see a Pioneer NAVI bluetooth connection available on my phone. Not sure this means its separate from the Pioneer AVIC or if the unit still works without...

Anyone has this file to reup?

Oddly enough my headunit has no power but I heard the Japanese voice still. I thought that was more than odd.

Update: tried the above and nothing. The screen 'progressed' from nothing to what may have been a flashing backlight with the occasional flashing lines. A few days ago whilst ejecting a DVD, all power went. I checked both fuses and they looked ok - I did an eyetest only. I can only surmise it's...

Hey, my Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC MRZ-09 shows absolutely nothing on screen. I hear it, it lights up and the touch screen works but I can see nothing. Any ideas? Ive seen people saying try a reset but Im not seeing how I can. If anyone has that model and has sorted this issue before... let me...
