    This could be a big help... I ordered a new fuel pocket with the door, wasnt too expensive. Wish I had a photo handy to show what I mean with the door not sitting proud. Will give a go at spraying with some of that stuff and see if it does the trick Thank you!

    Update: I took the trim off inside the boot. Dont think its the latch or cable, it looks like the filler door itself. It doesn't seem to be aligned properly, it sits a bit more to the rear than to the front, so it could be the assembly of the door or the spring.. Still unsure on the fix though
