Air con issues intermittant

Hey all

I have issues with my air-con in the car since I got it.

its intermittent sometimes works fine other times will cut out and just blow normal air.

for example today I just drove 34km without a hiccup (19.c outside)
On the way back few hours later lasted, 2 mins and cut out (26.c outside) Sometimes if I turn off and leave for minute it will come back on but then last few more mins and turn off. Other times wont get cold again till you turn off car and reset. i have tried all different modes but nothing seems to make it happen or bring it back its very random

Hard to say if its the outside temp that is effecting it because i dont use when its cold outside

I have taken it to mechanics and they have re-gassed and fixed what they said was a leaking seal issue (6 months ago). but they couldn't get it to do the issue for them.
I have taken back again to check but similar story couldnt find anything wrong

I have replaced the air con relay in the fusebox and went back to original thermostat controls still no luck

kinda doing my head in not fun without aircon.

Anyone have any thoughts or similar issues ?

If anyone is interested or comes across the same problem, the above video fixed my issue.

My clutch on my compressor wasnt engaging when the car was really hot. I did as in the video and removed one shim so the clutch was closer to the magneto. Its 29.c here today and just drove around with lovely aircon
