GT-S head unit display problem

I have been unable to get to the bottom of what’s going on with the head unit display in my GT-S Spec b MY17.
It looks like it just keeps rebooting on a constant loop. The progress bar gets to the end, the screen goes blank and then the whole process starts again.
Dealership want to charge $700AU just to look at it.
Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas on how to resolve it please?

Try to take out the SD card with maps then turn on the radio. As far AS I remember I har the same situation when I inserted new maps when system was running and then restarted.

Finger cross that works
for $700 you could get a second hand head unit from a wrecked levorg and swap or get aftermarket idoing or similar and be much nicer

Thank you so much for responding! I still haven’t found anyone who has had the same issue. I found a second hand unit on Facebook for $100 - fingers crossed!

Having the same trouble but unfortunately I can’t get any touch screen connection
Could it be the actual head unit ?

tried the removing in the sd card but nothing
Won’t let me soft or hard reset either

any help would be rad
