Is your Passenger window not working from drivers switch ?

So this happened to me today, passenger window would work fine from passenger switch but not on drivers side

I did a quick google and found this video below

I was pretty sceptical as it really didn't make sense to me, but it fixed my issues so thought I would share

TLDR - turn ignition on to radio activates, put passenger window all the way down and then up with passenger switch...drivers switch will start working again
