My 2016 Levorg is used a lot on rural roads in Scotland. It runs on UK standard 18 inch wheels with the usual 225/45 profile tyres (manufactured by Michelin or Dunlop). Unfortunately, I have discovered that these tyres are very prone to sidewall damage: three new tyres have failed in the last 3 months. Has anybody else encountered this difficulty? Will fitting 17 inch wheels and higher profile tyres help? If anyone has any advice, I would be most grateful!
