Remapping

When I tried to get mine done in the UK, despite some companies advertising the ability to remap the 1.6 Levorg, the workshop that I took my car to couldn't find anyone around the UK who had managed to get into the cars ECU because Subaru had locked them out from accessing their system. So I never got mine done.
There are reputable companies who still advertise that they can gain you around 30 bhp and up to 50 nm extra power, but has been stated many times when someone mentions about the possibility of increasing the 1.6 engines power, the limiting factor is that CVT gearbox.
More informed people on this thread will say "Don't go above 300 nm, you'll cook the CVT gearbox, and it's not a cheap fix"

Cheers for the reply and that info , one of my worries was the CVT tbh which is why I've been trying to find someone who has already mapped one to see what their experience was . The place I got a quote from was Yorkshire remaps and they are quoting to take it to 190bhp and 300nm
