Swap transmission on 1.6L

Hello to all, I have a 2016 GT-S with the 1.6L engine, I want to install an 2015 WRX manual transmission. Do you know it the transmission fits perfectly on the FB16 engine? It has the same holes as the FB20?

I see all the videos but they do the swap with the WRX STI engine and parts, I want to swap ONLY the transmission, from automatic to manual

What engines are in the BRZ? I believe they have the FA20E engine with manual box so in theory it's possible. you'd lose the eyesight capabilities mind.

The Brz has yes the FA20 but is RWD, so I think that the gearbox is different (i don't know, i have to ask). In Italy fortunately we have some Levorg without eyesight

All Su aru engines have identical bolt pattern even BRZ ever since EJ engons laucnhed in early 90s. Although brz has 1 difference being starter motor being mounted on other side to all other subaru cars.
You could easily mount up transmission from 6speed XV, Jmpreza, forester or usdm va WRX. It ideally should have a fottong rear diff aswell.

Problem is wiring, CANBUD and fact 1.6turbo was never sold with a manual. Perhaps ecu from 1.6i XV can work with some modifications. It might need guage cluster from XV aswell.
