Hi Guys had my Levorg GTS tuned today by MSR in NSW Australia. Only modifications I installed are a Mishimoto intake and HKS diff back exhaust. Very happy with the results car feels great.

wow nice results, congrats

Those torque numbers are crazy, wouldnt have expected that high

Did they happen to do a baseline before tune ? would be interesting to see the gains

Thanks mate.

He said he didn't push the car to hard to get a baseline because it might run a bit to lean with the intake. But normally these get around 140-145kw atw stock on his dyno.

The Torque is surprisingly high lol. I had a 05 wrx with just turboback exhaust tuned here about 10 years ago and that car got 480nm on the stock td04. So maybe Torque just reads high on this dyno for reason? Not sure, lol
But the car feels awesome pulls hard all the way up top.

How much was the quote on the tune? Did they fit the intake/ diff back exhaust?

$1200 for the tune.
I installed the intake and exhaust myself.
I was originally gonna install a J pipe as well but they advised me not to as it will you loose torque off idle and cvt wouldn't be able to handle it. I would highly recommend msr if your thinking of getting a tune he definitely knows what he's doing.
Pulse racing in Menai wanted $1600 for a tune.
Ichiban in Ingleburn said that the program they use to tune cvts no longer works so can't go to them at the moment.

thanks for telling me, got a quote from tunehouse in marrickville for just stage 1 and it was 1600... hopefully I can get around the same gains with an intake.

Hey mate,

Great to see you went with MSR, Mick is an absolute guru and knows his stuff. Strong numbers and what an improvement!
Hes done all my previous WRXs and you are never left disappointed.

HKS system looks superb, was this a local purchase or sourced from Japan?

Cheers!

Thanks mate.

Yeah he's done two tunes on one of my previous wrx's as well.

I sourced the hks system from Japan. RHDjapan it was about $1000 delivered. It's really quiet at idle and low revs but has a nice raspy almost hollow sound at high rpms. Perfect for me because I daily the car for work and didn't want any drone or anything to loud.
