Sounds like a glitch in the software.
Try disconnecting the battery for 30mins and hold the brake pedal down for a good 30 seconds to completely drain the system of any electrical charge.
Annoyingly you'll have to relearn the windows & clock, but it may clear the systems history .
Welcome,
I've had my Sti coming up 4yrs.
Have a look at my build thread in the gallery and enjoy the terrible fuel consumption .
Others complain about the suspension, but I can't fault it.
Any modifications planned?
Well that was short lived. This time I now have P2270 and P113A. The Rear O2 sensor will be here at the end of May and then I'm getting the CVT oil pump seal leaking fixed and an oil change.
May as well treat the old girl before the summer.
Hi ya,
Petronas claim that theirs is superior over oem, that's why I chose it. And I wasn't prepared to buy a 25gallon drum to waste most of it.
I'm not sure if you've seen my build thread, but I didn't drain and fill twice as planned.
I drained and then refilled. It was so messy that I ended...
I ordered a new oem MAF via partsouq as they were cheaper than anyone in the UK or online and within 2 days it was delivered from the EAU.
2 minutes to replace and it could be placebo, but the car feels instantly better. The throttle is so much more responsive.
Several times now I've had the EML come up for the air flow mas sensor.
Before replacing it for new, I gave it a good clean with carb cleaner. It was a no brainer to clean the air filter at the same time.
When installing my electronic boot, I had to splice into a 12v. Everything I read implied one colour, but it turned out to be a light peachy colour. Have you looked at the loom that runs along the drivers side to the rear?
