Hi Everyone,
I hope this is the right place to post this! (Apologies if not)

I did lots of searching online and found many pages about Tinting with Eyesight.
All mention not to touch/tint the front windshield. (illegal in New Zealand, so wasnt planning on it anyway) but nothing mentioned the side front windows so I had those done in 35% film... (darkest legal here) BUT as soon as I started the car at the tint shop, the Eyesight has disabled.

Have I made an error in having the side windows tinted or is it just a coinsidence?

Eyesight has been off for 3 days, since I had the windows done.
I also had a wheel alignment performed the morning before tinting.
(before anyone asks, I have cleaned the outside of the windshield, tried with windows fully down, made sure the dash is free of dust (using a dry cloth) )
Any other suggestions are much appreciated.

I have also booked it in to be looked at, incase its something else.

Thank you for your help :)

The eyesight button isn't pressed in is it?
I thought the eyesight only uses the front screen. Have you put the windows down turned the car off and back on - still with your freshly tined windows down?
I can't see how they effect it tbh.

Side window tint at the legal 35% level normally won’t interfere with Eyesight, since the system relies on the front-facing cameras behind the windshield. It’s more likely a calibration issue, especially after your wheel alignment, so booking it in was the right move. For those considering tinting, choosing a premium service like this car tinting option can help ensure the film is applied correctly without affecting vehicle systems.
