You have to take the door car off to install the module and find a place to stick it onto.

I've done this mod before on a VW, very easy. If you do this mod you might as well buy sequencial mirror lights and you can also wire them up as daytime running lights. You can buy them for $100 on eBay like I did. You may find them cheaper.

Correct. It is faster doing it manually but when you have children who cannot reach the boot lid to close it, it's annoying.

All the amber lights(turning signal) stay on including my seqencial turning lights on side mirrors. You can adjust the length of time you want them on for. Great at night, puts out plenty of light around the car.

Great that it all worked out I just installed a SmartTap CF18 LED Flasher Module which now gives me coming home lights when unlocking and locking car. Also has wig wag Hazzard lights. Waiting for my auto tailgate kit to arrive, so that will be next for now.

Try holding it for 5sec when it goes down and the same when it goes up

Try to wind window all the way down and then up. Should reset it back.
