Hi all recently my 2019 levorg sti has been blowing the fuse related to the fuel pump, at the current time I am just replacing the blown fuse and then it will start up again and go like normal , factors to keep in mind it has done this twice on 35+ degree days and it normally happens when I’ve driven for a bit then turned the car off and started to drive again (e.g stopped into a servo and it started up fine then I drove a little and it stalled out as leaving the driveway of servo)
I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and could give me any advice on what I should look at to replace or what could be the issue causing it to blow . Thanks

My jdm 2.0 sti had a recall for the fuel pump, so the pump could be faulty when getting warm and tripping the system.
There are others things on the fuel line circuit and could possibly be cuasing the fault when the wires get hot.

What country are you in, as subaru may have a recall to change the pump for free

Hi Robsyuk

I’m in Adelaide Australia , although I’ve taken the pump out and took my pump to Subaru to check wether it was a recall , checked with dealer and it’s supposedly not one of the pumps affected under the recall . So far im thinking it could be a wire or something in the circuit causing it too trip when too hot
