I popped open the bonnet this morning to top up the washer fluid and to check the oil level after a few weeks of ownership.
I have to say that I am very impressed with the access to the engine ancillaries such as starter motor, alternator, air con pump, drive belt etc. No doubt helped by the longitudinal boxer layout, but a breath of fresh air compared to some previous vehicles I have owned.
I have a long warranty remaining so hopefully I won't need to wield my spanners in anger, but it's reassuring to know that most components are easy to get to if needed.

Ah no problem for you then, the turbo has been moved from the top of the engine to the bottom on the FA’s. Much harder to get to, not that we should ever really need to I guess
