Stop Start technology was purely to reduce emissions in built up areas. Idling cars don't really need to be 'wasting fuel & pumping out...

If I do anything with mine, it will be the factory spats rathe than mudflaps this time. They aren't too pricey, but would need painting.

AliExpress have tailgate struts from GBP40. They fit and work but no idea how long they will last..!
