Since in Japan smb forgot to put soundproofing in the interior (I'll show you the photos), after the first drive on studded tires, it was decided not to put off work on this topic for a minute. Soundproofing was done in three layers, the weight increased to about 50 kilograms. But now you can whisper in the car at a speed of over 100 km/h) Plus, I cleaned the car from water scale and made a ceramic coating on the body. I'll also show the result before and after with a water film. Cheers!

Any tips or things to look out for when removing the roof trim? Obviously disconnect the battery because of the airbags.
Planning to do the same to mine over easter

Damn, Easter has passed, and I only saw it now) that's right, be sure to turn off the battery, although nothing should happen. Be nice and considerate, like if something doesn't snap off, check again) and in general, if you're thinking of doing something according to patterns, it's pointless, it's just killing time. I recommend changing the acoustics in the doors right away, sooner or later it will happen and you will have to change the dead speakers)

Hey, thanks for this. No worries, the local shipping company has yet to deliver my soundproofing material..
Luckily someone in japan already upgraded it to the diatone system available as a dealer option, HU and speakers and paired it with an underseat sub.
