    Poor radio reception

    I found the issue was a poor connection in the wiring connector that powers the 12v for the aerial amplifier.

    I think its the grey wire on the 28pin plug (factory subaru) should have an earth with park brake applied. If JDM radio is aftermarket it may be a green wire.

    It's generally a built in safety issue, so I would say the handbrake input into the unit would have to be rewired.
