Confirmed? Subaru Levorg VM4 CAN actually handle 300Nm?

Car is holding up well so far, I'm running around the 300Nm peak torque mark around 2500-3500rpm, however top end torque is still an issue due to the small turbo exhaust housing (turbo struggles to maintain 1bar above 4500rpm). Looking to either upgrade the internals on the stock turbo or run a...

Confirmed? Subaru Levorg VM4 CAN actually handle 300Nm?

So, I just did a decat and full 3" exhaust, waiting for a tune, will let you guys know what estimates I get up to. But good chance it will be over 300Nm @ ~1.2bar

I'd be curious to see if anyone has tested performance on a tuned 1.6 Levorg, I know for sure it can certainly do with improved response and boost management.

Hey guys, if anyone has managed to get a parts list/service manual please point me in the right direction

Confirmed? Subaru Levorg VM4 CAN actually handle 300Nm?

I think this is more from a track performance perspective, the CVT limits the amount of control you have as a driver. Not to mention it gets hot from prolonged running.

Confirmed? Subaru Levorg VM4 CAN actually handle 300Nm?

Sounds like you're referring to lbft not Nm, the 2.0l Japanese spec Levorg comes with 400Nm from the factory. I don't plan on going anywhere near 280, just a responsive 220lbft with a better torque curve is fine for me.

Confirmed? Subaru Levorg VM4 CAN actually handle 300Nm?

Many forums suggest the Levorg VM4 (1.6l) can only safely run 250Nm. That said, a random thought crossed my mind the other day... We all know the Levorg VN5 comes with a 1.8 litre turbo option running 300Nm from factory, so if this vehicle were to run the TR580 instead of the TR690, shouldn't...

    1.6l modifications

Only challenge: I only have up to 95RON (depending on where you get it) readily available locally. Don't want to go down the race fuel additives route, having to drive around with jerrycans of the stuff on longer trips like some people I know. Should I prioritize CAI or JPipe/downpipe?

    1.6l modifications

So then, downpipe and intake should allow me to safely make this power? Should I consider an IC upgrade as well? Considering the same IC is used on the 2.0l I'd assume it's oversized for the application.

    1.6l modifications

Thanks for the tips. Will I be able to get this power running the same 95RON, or does one have to run higher octane? I would want to run this power with minimal risk of detonation.

    1.6l modifications

Hi guys! So I have a '14 Levorg GT, and I'm planning the following mods: -Mishimoto Cold Air Intake (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OBEOSZE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1) -Invidia Catted stainless steel downpipe...

    Subaru Eyesight not working

So, I took my Levorg to the Subaru service center to have it looked at by a electrical technician, and after taking everything apart (and even a reset of the system) the possible issue has been diagnosed as an incompatible replacement Combination Meter Display. The Eyesight system is working...

Aftermarket Fuse Box cover? Where's the Eyesight

Thanks! Indeed it is a toll collection reader (confirmed by the car electrician), useless device where I'm driving though. Will keep investigating the Eyesight issue, will share with the group once I find a solution.

Aftermarket Fuse Box cover? Where's the Eyesight

Hi guys! So I've been looking at a couple of videos online on how to remove the internal fuse box cover, and I noticed the one on my 2014 JDM Levorg definitely seems a little odd. Anyone know what this kind of fuse cover is for? Looks like it has a disc slot or something? Also I've been...

    Subaru Eyesight not working

Yes I'm certain I have Eyesight. My theory is the Eyesight feature was disabled in software entirely, because even cruise control (non-adaptive) doesn't work at all. Check out the attached video for more reference (no Eyesight setup in the settings menu). We have a Subaru dealer here but I...

    Subaru Eyesight not working

Hi! Still no luck yet, yes I get nothing! Let me try and record a video for your reference. I suspect a fuse or relay may have been removed, or the car was flashed with software running on non-eyesight models. Can't seem to find any eyesight fuses/relays on the fuse diagrams, any idea where it...

    Subaru Eyesight not working

Yes that's a low fuel indicator (prior to purchase), and yes it is a Japanese import. I can access an OBD2 reader, what exactly will I use it for? Does the Levorg have some sort of engineering mode where you can enable/disable sensors?

    Subaru Eyesight not working

Hi guys! So I recently bought a Levorg 2014 second-hand 1.6 GT with Eyesight. However, I can't get any of the Eyesight functions to work (i.e. Lane Keep assist, cruise control, collision avoidance, etc.) The only steering wheel functions that are working are switching between S mode and I mode...
