    Led upgrade

They house both the fog lights (top) and the DRL's (bottom). To check that they work ok, test in daylight outside. Make sure ur headlights are on auto or off NOT on. Turn the fog lights off. You need to put her in drive and drive forward a bit for the DRL's to turn on initially as they only...

    Vorg from Japan

Was in Japan last month for a week and saw quite a few Levorgs especially in Hakone but only spotted a single WRX (current model) the whole time there! Bit surprised, but I was commutering/ touristing mainly so missing out on the cool stuff. Loved the unique mix of cars of all sorts in Japan...

I checked with the AliExpress seller and they only do LHD. Anyone else manage to successfully order one of these units in RHD market from anywhere?

    Front & rear park sensors

Cost me about $800 with non OEM top tier front and back sensors fitted. No link back to screen or speakers. Cos of the way the front bumpers are angled the sensors had to be put on a spacer and jut out at an odd angle, which also mean their direction sensing is not as accurate as if u had OEM...

    Boot Lighting Upgrade

I only figured it out when I went back and looked at what was in the box. Mistakenly assumed the 2 wire harnesses were the same for the left and right side instead of clipping into each other, so all good. I have put it in over the Weeknd, but am confused about where exactly you tapped the...

    Boot Lighting Upgrade

'One half of the loom goes plugs into the LED' That's the bit that I can't figure out. How did you connect the two plastic bits together without snipping/ soldering. See photo. Is this what you have too? Driving me nuts! If you can describe the process would be heaps helpful cos I'm stuck.

    Boot Lighting Upgrade

Oz, I'm from Sydney and would appreciate your experiences before I get stuck into it pls. I can't figure out how the plugs from the LED units connect to the cables, and then the untapped cables on the other emd, which I assume is to the switch in the boot. Would appreciate your assistance. PM or...

    replacement of interior bulbs

I replaced the interior lights with ebay cheapies when I first got the car but the light especially in the back was underwhelming. Picked up the Phillips LEDs from Bling worx but did not make any difference in output at all. Had a closer look and the inside of the rear dome light covers are...

    Boot Lighting Upgrade

Thanks Oz. I have ordered one. Can't have much light in the back, now that it's a temporary change table for the baby!

    Boot Lighting Upgrade

Hey Oz, I was going to upgrade to just a better quality (6000K) Phillips LED, but this seems smarter. Do the lights go on and off automatically when the hatch is opened or work manually only? What happens to the standard light on the side of the hatch? Does it continue to work like normal? Do...

    Your Current Ride.

Thanks Ozkan. Can you expand on what is needed for the rears. Is it simply lining up the holes on the flap against the rubber moulding inside the wheel well and drilling? Is there a solid surface behind it to drill into?

    Your Current Ride.

Ozcan, the Rally Armor mud flaps you installed, are they the the WRX ones? If not which ones? And do they just screw straight in or did you have to drill custom holes? Thanks.

    Upgrading stock speakers

Thanks Dee, that's not a bad idea. I'll see what I can put together to keep it secured to the general area and stop it falling over under hard acceleration. I don't rather not open up the back to sound deaden it. The car holds the bass in fairly decently and it's just the license plate that...

    Upgrading stock speakers

Anyone in Oz who has done a slimline subwoofer in the back? What did you use to keep the subwoofer in place without moving? Installer recommended double sided Velcro, but I'm not sure if that will be strong enough and also want want to keep it removable and the cargo bay unmolested as much as...

    Front & rear park sensors

No I went with premium quality aftermarket ones, can't remember the brand. Subaru dealership was happy to sell me the sensors, but they were ridiculously expensive and had no obvious benefit as they were ones not specifically designed for Levorg anyhow.

    Front & rear park sensors

I got these installed on the Weekend. Not straightforward on the Levorg, due to the metal bar that runs behind the rear bumper and the cross traffic alert radar sensors. And the front ones on the corners had to be installed on angled mounts (not flush) to be as accurate as possible.Took a lot of...

    Should of / Could of…

Wish the Aussie spec model had the DRLs integrated into the silver bar in the black trim of the front number like overseas spec models. Australia gets downgraded spec as always. http://2018autos.com/subaru-levorg-2015/ Oh and parking sensors would be nice in 2016. Guessing it was not worth...

    Upgrading stock speakers

Hi Chris, I did check with the installers about this before the job was done. No spacers are needed. The stock speakers are glued to the frames and had to be cut out and are not salvageable. The replacement speakers including the tweeters are simply screwed onto the existing frame. Sound is...
