E-tag positioning in NSW, Australia

Hi, I have a 2016 Levorg and need to attach a new E-tag to the windscreen for Sydney tollways. Instructions say to attach it behind the rear vision mirror on the "dots" or on the "lighter coloured" windscreen. Subaru service centre said to place it in one of the bottom corners, on the lighter coloured glass. Do you know if it would work down the bottom corners? Thank you in advance.

I'm in Melbourne and we have e-tag's on both the levorg and xv. Top left corner away from the eyesight and on the dots. No issues!
