I purchased rear pads for my levorg 2016 from Intima but made the mistake of getting Subaru dealer to install them the bill came to $487 to install pads skim rotors and replace brake fluid next time I think I’ll do it myself does anyone know if you have to have them plug in there diagnostic computer To carry out this job as my front pads won’t be far off needing replacement cheers

I replaced my front pads and rotors myself on my driveway, it's a straightforward job just like on any car.

Wow that's steep, I had all 4 pads replaced with Intima pads I bought online, was going to do them myself but my Subaru dealer only wanted $77 to fit them, so stuff doing it myself. Rotors were fine coz pads swapped before needing replacement, so no damage done to rotors. I had them installed at the same time they were doing a scheduled service, maybe that made it cheaper too??

paid 587€ for a regular service plus front brake pads and rotors, coolant flush & wipers.
So I'd say ~200€ for the entire front brake replacement ?

So you find them as good as oem? Better? Less noise?

Better. Less noise and dust. Apparently less fade too, but I can't say I've driven it hard enough for long enough to comment on that aspect.
Hopefully they last as long as the OEM's too.
