Apolgoises if this sounds dumb. Any info appreciated. I just recently purchased a 2016 VM4 1.6 GT-S european edition. During my research of the car I've seen some versions of the car with eyesight that have cameras in the grill and cameras on the side etc.

So if you only have the blind spot function. I don't have adaptive cruise control, lane assistance and I presume the emergency braking feature i assume comes with adaptive cruise control.
But see a camera in the central mirror on the windscreen and a green led when I look at the rear mirror what is the purpose of this?

The 'camera' in the centre of the screen is in fact a high beam sensor. The green led is for the auto dimming rear view mirror. Eyesight came on 2017 model year.
