Leather seats

Hi,
Is there any noticable difference between the fabric seats and the leather seats on the Levorg?
I've been thinking about changing out the fabric seats that's in mine, to leather seats, I don't think the ones who I have are especially good, and miss the seats from my old 3series bmw. (Lumbar support, "deeper" seats, and a bit more comfortable)
Any input would be much apreciated.

But the complete leather interior costs me the same as this (seats front and rear, armrest and doortrim), so i think i will pick it up next week

They are used, but the car they were inn is about a year old, so no damage or wear yet

The electric powered leather seats are definitely more comfortable, and offer a wide(r) range of adjustment. They are the reason why I bought the car with the leather seats trim, because I have some chronic problems with my back. Strangely enough, these 8-way adjustable seats do not have an adjustable lumbar support. So I got an adjustable lumbar support installed by a local car seat & trim workshop. This lumbar support is adjustable by inflating it more or less with a small manual air "pump" bulb.

The good news is that in a Levorg with a leather driver seat, it is possible to install such an inflatable lumbar support behind the back cushion, without taking out the seat.
So, you can take your time to experience the seat without added lumbar support and think about it for a while.....

Not sure if it is the same in Norway as here in Sweden, but the biggest difference is that the leather seats are "Sports" seats, meaning better sideways support if you go through corners at speed.
If you do consider changing the seats, remember you can also use STI seats from the 08 and newer. The leather/alcantra combo I think is even better than only leather. None however have adjustable lumbar support (as far as I know).

Thanks! Actually bought them already, full interior cost me the same as the seat covers off of japanparts.
I noticed they're more sporty than the fabric ones, much better side support, both on the back, and on the seat.
Looking forward to changing them out and trying them out.
Asked Subaru Norway about using sti seats, but since they are not "type approved" they would highly advice against using them. So maybe later if I can get some dirt cheap.

Seats are inn
Easy diy, took an hour or so of labor, with the wires for the drivers side.
Hopefully the rest goes just as easy as these did.
They need some cleaning to be perfect, since they are used, and have been in storage for a month or so.
I like them, much better side support, and better adjustability.

Also had to change the rear seats.
Takes a bit more time than the front's, but it's just as easy (when you know you can take everything apart inside the car!)

Next is the console, the thing on top of the dashboard above the headunit, and doortrim

Unfortunately, I don't know the make of my lumbar support. But if you google "inflatable lumbar support" you get dozens of results for similar supports.
For instance the Corbeau make is quite known (for complete seats too, btw).
An interior (upholstery) workshop in your neighborhood should be able to sell and install it.
It is installed at the rear side of the seat, just below the back under the (leather) seat cover which can be removed easily by unzipping.
Tip : In case of the Levorg (but for other cars too) however, it was necessary to insert additional wooden plate between the inflatable support and the seat chassis. This is because the seat chassis spring is not stiff enough, and without the additional wooden reinforcement, inflating the lumbar support has no effect at the front side of the seat.
And do not forget to utilize your seat heating in winter, if you have one, which can do sometimes miracles for your lower back pain !

Probs to late but the leather seats in the 2018 premium have adjustable lumbar
