spare tire trunk compartment thing FS ?

Hello all,

I got a tire repair kit under trunk insert (the one here: https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/48411)
I'm looking for the insert for a spare tire. My dealer told me it's not available in Benelux (and potentially in Europe), and I couldn't find it on japanparts either.

So I got two questions

1. Does this even exist ?
2. If it does, has anyone one for sale, or is willing to trade my repair kit trunk insert for their spare tire trunk insert ?

I just removed the thing and put a spare inside there. Made a lid/hatch for it when it was on air, and a full size wheel fits in there without it pushing the lid up.
Size of the wheel is 19x9,5 and have a 235/35 tire on it. 8,5 or less would most likely be better though.

Although the original trunk box looks very nice and orderly, and so does the part B3118VA210 for a small emergency spare tyre. I removed it in order to securely install a full sized spare tyre. I just use one of my winter- or summer-tyres accordingly the season.

Advantage for me is that I also can store my other stuff (trailer hitch, booster cables and so on) more easily.

The lids are strong enough and don’t deform when carrying the wage of the luggage or my own weight when I crawl into the back.

Is the emergency spare tyre 145/70-17 big enough not to interfere with the differentials and gearbox?
The tyre size calculator ( https://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html ) shows for my tyres a 3.8% difference in size.

So B3118VA210 can only fit the factory space-saver wheel ? it will not fit a full size spare ?

I got 3.77% smaller than my 225/45r18.

I'm assuming this difference isn't big enough to bring long-term damage to a well maintained gearbox/diff provided you follow instruction on the rim (where it typically says you cannot use the tire above 80km/h, and not for more than 200km distance, stuff like that).

Where I'm living, differences between summer & winter can be such that I'll go get a all-season tire on a cheap-ass 17 rim. I don't wanna have a 225 summer sled on sludge

[edit]I guess I'll just get some sound deadening material and stick it in the wheel well, in such a way I could still trop the factory tire repair kit insert

T145/70D17 is the tyre size according to the accessory catalog. The difference in hight with a factory tyre 225/45r18 will be about 8 cm. The free space between a full factory tire and the lids is about 3 to 4 cm.

I have packed my wheel in a molton blanket with a little hole in the middle to secure the wheel with a bolt on the present spare wheel bracket.
