Just a quick heads up for you on what you should pay to have them installed, set up, and aligned. Some people have pain up to $800 for this, I paid $300 for fitment, wheel alignment, wait a week for them to settle (they do drop over a number of days) then re set height and final alignment, all for $300. That’s in Melbourne. But I’d ring around and get quotes before you choose someone as the price can vary dramatically for the same thing ;)

300$ is very fair. Good to hear.
I can recommend MSR at Somersby for Sydney and Central Coast ect for any work like fitting coil overs, mods, dyno, servicing. Worth the drive 100%. Mick is an absolute GURU on all things Subaru, and wont gouge you on price.
As soon as I pick up a set of Teins they're getting fitted. Just drove to the GC and back and a few country roads were murder on the shitty Bilstien setup. Fucking awful by Subaru... Levorg absolutely ate the open roads though, magic. If only they'd got the suspension right first go.... cheers legends!

Hi All,
When I lodged my complaint, Subaru didn’t want a bar of it. They said that all of the cars compliance and certifications were conducted with the suspension that the car comes with, so they wouldn’t approve or recommend anything outside of that.
In other words, they were zero help!
I’m still happy I went with MCA’s, great value.

Cheers man, what douchebags. Disgraceful customer service and product development.... Subaru has changed and not for the better.
I wonder how long the reps were driving a Levorg before trading back into a WRX.....
Great to hear the MCAs are working out!

You guys are either not making enough noise, more so not getting through to speak with the right people.
Subaru Australia are fully aware of how shithouse the suspension was in the early Levorgs regardless of what BS they are trying to spin and sell everyone. (Now bragging on about how it's been upgraded in the new models ha ha) Why upgrade if there was nothing wrong with it in the first place?
I began having a running battle with them, (Subaru Australia) some years back literally weeks or a couple of months after purchasing one of the first B Spec Levorgs arriving into Australia (May/June 2016).
Yes, I did replace the suspension at my own cost. Made a massive big stink about it, "with and to the right person" (eventually), and was given 2K worth of accessories.
Didn't quite cover my expenditure replacing the suspension, however question begs asking, if you stood 100% behind your product and refused to believe there was in fact no issues with what many were, and are still complaining about why would you give the person $2000 of accessories?
Think about it...

So, a quick update...on 10 March 2022 I had the MCA ProComfort Coilovers fitted. Immediate transformation of the car. Now it doesn't hit the bump stops in the front end and the rear end feels very firm. As these are user adjustable, I have tried different settings and for around town I have them all set to 2 stops from the softest setting. May try different firmer settings on highway trips. Currently there are so many potholes in Sydney. Anyhow, I now really like the car again. No thanks to Subaru. This will very likely be my last of 3 Subarus. They just don't listen, just like some politicians.

Good to see, the MCA's seem to have the same effect on everyone, a renewed love for the car. How much they charging in Sydney for the fitting and setup? Potholes suck down here in Vic too, I'm sure after all the rain you guys have had and will be getting this year that there is going to be alot more potholes to deal with too, so perfect timing for MCA's for you ;)

Mate MSR at Sommersby quoted me 380 for fitting and setup of MSRs up here in NSW land. I ran a few brands by Mick like Zero Sports, Blitz. and Silvers, but the Guru has endorsed MCA Pro comforts or Vostons as gospel so thats good enough for me, plus the positive feedback from you legends.
Ill be purchasing in the next month or so, and definitely looking forward to the transformation from the daily Bilstein hell.

Mmm I haven't heard of MSR Pro Comforts, but if they're anything like MCA Pro Comforts they'll rock ;) lol just kidding
Can't wait to hear your experience of driving home after they get fitted, I couldn't drive straight home myself, just HAD to go for a bit of a cruise first, didn't wanna stop driving her again :p

Indeed, it’s not always what you say but how you say it, delivery is everything
Best you coach the viewer/reader' on the 'delivery' ;)
As soon as I told the insurer that I now have ADR spec coil overs fitted to the levorg, they 'labelled' me as a 'greater liability' and increased my premium.
Yes I tried to argue stupid with them by voicing personal experiences I've had with the dangerous factory suspension, hence the safety need for a coilover upgrade.

Insurer deflected to Subaru Australia, 'If Subaru Australia does a recall on your model car due to defective suspension then we will adjust your policy to reflect this.'

Bypass the circle jerking and ditch the SHITE stock suspension for your OWN safety o_O

As for numerous complaints about suspension issue's to Subaru Australia nothing but the sound of crickets has been received back.

Let me break it down...

They have told me that the 2016 Levorg had passed all ADR specs and no faults were found on road trials.

Did read a chap claimed he got 2K's worth of accessory's for his suspension woe's... Would that cut it for you????
