Update 2016 factory unit to Kenwood - anyone come across the following?

Hi Crew,

Looking to update, absolutely tired of the awful factory sound quality. Plenty of options out there but Kenwood is my focus for a double din. Always great quality.

For those gurus out there have you come across any of this whilst upgrading:

• The following vehicles settings must be confirmed before removing the head unit as they will not be accessible on the aftermarket unit: Rear Camera Time Out, Autolight Sensor, Welcome Lighting, Clock, Interior Light, Defogger, Keyless Entry and One Touch Lane Change.

Do we lose any features with the POS replaced? Of course ill be purchasing all the patches, leads, install kit, canbus ect.... trying to make it as plug and play as possible.

I'm using idoing and haven't lost any of the things you have listed (I don't have one touch lane change though)

Yes mate I think ive seen the Idoing install on YT. Nicely done.

I havent heard of losing all those features after an upgrade either, news to me. Remote entry and defogger prob the biggest concern lol.

Not my youtube video sorry to say...

can confirm my remote entry and deforgger no issues. I did lose the compass on the multifunction display but cant say I've ever used.

However I have a 2014 that doesnt have some of the newer model features. hopefully someone with newer AUDM model can chime in
