Importing a JDM STI 2.0 from Japan

Hi everyone,

I am living in the UK and we only have GT trims here which are 1.6 (170bhps) and 2.0 (14xbhps).
I would like to import a JDM STI 2.0 from Japan that cost probably the same with GT here.

However, there are few more trims and lots of options in Japan and I can only figure some of them out. I noticed some gentlemen here have Subaru EPC, FAST III. Appreciate if you could help on it with the frame No. VMG-037012. It should be a 2019 F type 2.0 STI black selection but I am not sure does it include safety plus features.

Hello, I'm in Milton Keynes and had mine just over 2 years now.
Don on Scoobynet helped find the spec on mine, he is a god with subaru and refuses to take beer as payment for being helpful.

I think I have the spec with all options. Darren at Torque GT sourced it for me, but be warned, the prices have gone up a lot in 2 years.

Unfortunately, I did not win the car I mentioned... 10kJPY lower than the won price...

Is that £15k on uk road or just winning the auction

15k pounds on road. So probably 2018, model E would be my target.

I have the model E and belive there is a model F. I don't know what the difference is, it could even just be the age of release. I read somewhere that the lifters in the engine have been revised as the earlier models just fall out, - I saw a video, but I don't know when this revision happened with the FA20 engine.

I don't think there is any huge difference between model E & F after researching. Probably just some minor interior trims.

Model D upgraded the eyesight 3.0 but there is no safety plus features. That is why I am targeting model E or F, although the safety plus is an option, the suspension seems be tuned. (please correct me if I am wrong)


Hopefully, I can get one with good condition soon.
