    Levorg manual transmission conversion

I’ll take that please I was deep diving compatibility and I read the 06-07 STI and even the newer 2015+ transmissions have a final ratio of 3.90. The 1.6L also has a final ratio of 3.90. So technically on the mechanical side it’s the simplest swap. Where the VA 2L Vorg and Wrx have a 4.111...

    Levorg manual transmission conversion

I read a post on Facebook where the guy swapped an STI transmission into a 1.6L vorg. I asked about the ecu and in a not so clear answer he said they used some simple relay box to send the P and Ebrake signals.

    CVT replacement!

That would be about 300hp. So a couple of easy mods or even just a tune on the 2.0L Levorg. Which is stock 265hp and 350nm of tq (258 ft/lbs). So 300hp would also be about 300 ft/lbs of tq and equivalent to 400nm.

    CVT replacement!

That's good to know. I'm about to do the 40k km maintenance on mine and change the cvt fluid and filter. I don't have a tune. Just cat back exhaust and a open k&n filter with GFB BOV. Even with that I feel the CVT is saying no more .

    CVT replacement!

2018MY and above come with the front mount cooler. My 1.6 has one and another thread noted that was the year it changed. Probably to address premature failure. The MRT guys said 400nm is it for max tq before the cvt starts failing in the FA20 Levorg. That number is lower, 250ft/lbs or 338NM in...

They don't offer the STI version in the Philippines...sadly.

    My ‘Vorg

Depends on the trim level in each country. My 1.6L 2019 GTs does not have. But the 2L did have.

    Vorg on a budget

I want to get the next tip size up. 3" looks too small. As far as sound goes. It only sounds sporty when the cats are cold. After warm, hardly any change when compared to stock mufflers. Did some research, the stock resonater works to well. So my plan is to swap it out with a magnaflow chambered...

    1.6l modifications

That's an expensive swap! It would be better to do an STI swap with drivetrain for that price range. I have only met tuned 2.0L owners, and most of them are using Cobb or similar plug and flash. But ECUTEK tuners seem to be able to handle 1.6L's and the best numbers I have seen is 228ps at the...

    1.6l modifications

For looks and price, mishimoto or Avo top mount and Avo j pipe. Depending on your location you might have two cats in the j pipe. So need to check that as the Avo is just the elbow off the turbo and replaces the first cat only. If you have two cats in the j pipe then you can remove the 2nd or...

    Vorg on a budget

2018 1.6GTS. Building a house so trying to build a car as economically as possible. Parts are super hard to come by in the Philippines. Challenge accepted. Goal is stage 2 power and haven't 100% decided on the look. But these are some sexy wagons.

    My ‘Vorg

Good recovery. I'm still debating on the aero mudguards for more sleek or going with a more Rally look with regular ones. How do you like yours? Did you wrap your interior dash trim?

    Same MY Levorg-WRX bonnets interchangeable?

Same model year WRX and levorg should fit. Other options are after market for same model year. It's only the rear end body wise that cannot be interchanged. Levorg with WRX front end swap attached.

    Same MY Levorg-WRX bonnets interchangeable?

The whole part is swappable. But it didn't fit because the design of the bumpers are different between the levorg, levorg STI, WRX and WRX STi. A Levorg STI front lip will not work on a standard Levorg. But for example, if I want my levorg to look like a WRX . I can swap bumper and fenders over...
