It's a little dark outside, and I might be being blind, but I don't think my car has a 12V socket in the rear.

This was the same on my old Legacy. However, as some models did come with 12V in the back, the wiring for it was hanging around behind the trim, so Ijust had to fit the socket and put the missing fuse in.

Does anyone know if there's anything for 12V in the back? Or if any models had it? I guess I could check the fuse board to see if there's any indication of it.

When installing my electric boot, and rear inner lights, I didnt see any spare plugs.
Im sure there will be a 12v live you could splice into though.

My phone isn't letting me upload pictures for some reason atm but while looking into wiring in my towbar i have come across 2 cables in speperate blocks taped together with pink tape behind the nearside rear panel in the boot. A yellow with white stripe and a black. According to the wiring diagrams in the service manual that is the 12v + and - for the 'Rear accessory power supply (cargo room)', connector R311...

Interesting. I was about to pull a bunch a trim out to either tap it from the centre console or to run a feed back from the fuse box. What year car do you have?

I'm probably gonna pick up a socket from a 2015ish BR Outback and hope Subaru would have used the same unit. There are a few places selling the Levorg kit (which I think is just a short harness and the socket) but for stupid money. It'd be nice to know where the intended location in the trim panel is though. I'll probably just put it in the cubby hole bit.
