Howdy folks! Last week I bought my dream car (the reasonable one) and I got it for a really good price, but it needs a bit of TLC.

This is my 2016 Levorg GT-S 2.0 VM.
It has fluid leaking from one of the rear shocks, so I want to replace both of the rears. I've looked up some videos on how to do it, so I've got a basic idea of how to do it myself, but I haven't commited to buying anything yet.

I've got a couple of options saved in my Chrome bookmarks, but I'm not particularly confident about compatibility:
HSD coilovers
Bilstein B6 Shock

I recently found this forum, and I'm incredibly grateful and excited to be part of a community of similar owners, so I'd love any advice I can get!

Thanks in advance!

For me I'd change all 4 shocks to coiloversyes they are expensive, but offer more benefits, including when it comes to sell the car.

Thank you for your response Rob!
I appreciate your advice, but I have a couple of hiccups with it.

I can't afford to do a full set of coilovers right now. Its only the rears that I need to do (and yes, I am aware there will be a difference in handling between the front and rear if I do).

Additionally, I don't really intend on selling this car anytime soon...

That's fair enough, wrx suspension from the same year will bolt directly on, so you could fit 2nd hand fairly cheaply
