Hi fellow Levorg owners!

I’m new here and hoping to get some clarification about my Levorg.

Recently I hit a kangaroo and had to get the front bumper and guard replaced. When I picked the car up, I immediately noticed a gap on both sides between the front lip and the panel.

I raised it with the mechanic, but he insists it’s the correct part — they ordered it using the same part number as the one originally on the car.

The problem is, I don’t have a crystal-clear photo to prove him wrong 100%. I do have a photo from the day I dropped it off though, and it doesn’t look like there was a gap. I showed him this, but he wasn’t convinced.

From my own research, it looks like there are a few different model variations. I’m now wondering if maybe the bumper that was on my car before wasn’t actually from the same year model.

I’ve attached photos below — could anyone tell me:

1. Do you have a gap between your front lip and panel?

2. If you’ve had front-end repairs, did the lip stop fitting properly afterwards?

Thanks in advance!

I bought a beguine sti front lip from Japan after i got the car imported and it has a gap in this same section. I never looked into it any further. I did notice that there are different front bumpers that have a slightly different section down where the gap is when compared to mine.
