I've recently purchased a 2021 JDM Subaru Levorg STI Sport EX (VN chassis) with the factory 11.6-inch Denso infotainment system.
My current software version is F16GPM062-680.
At the moment, Android Auto only uses the top half of the upper display, with the Subaru media/radio widget underneath. I'd like Android Auto to use the entire upper display while keeping the factory climate controls at the bottom.
While researching, I found that a number of Japanese owners had a CCU (Cockpit Control Unit) firmware update / CCU reprogramming (CCUリプロ) performed by Subaru, which enabled full-screen Android Auto.
I'm wondering if anyone here has:
- Had the CCU firmware updated on a JDM VN Levorg?
- Seen a later firmware than F16GPM062-680?
- Successfully enabled full-screen Android Auto while retaining all OEM functions (EyeSight, climate controls, steering wheel controls, reversing camera, vehicle settings, etc.)?
- Found a Subaru dealer or specialist who can perform the update?
