Does anyone know what the messages that I am geting may be while driving? This is a recent thing and does not happen every drive. I know it's not an ETC card as the car does not have one. There seem to be three different messages.

I have solved this - My wife had somehow activated the (Japanese) sat nav when turning on the stereo. I was getting directions in Japanese. Solved by using google translate to catch the instructions. A little embarassing but good to have it solved and know it's nothing more serious.

Glad you sorted it in the end i was just about to reply. I did the exact same in my old Subaru Legacy BP5. I turned on the GPS navigation accidentally and it kept talking to me constantly. Like you. google translate helped me turn it off eventually after i figured out what the issue was.
