Right now I drive a 2007 Legacy GT Sti, JDM cars are very common in Jamaica. I'd go as far as to say that 70% of the cars on the roads are JDM imported to Jamaica. The local Subaru dealer does not bring JMDs, but Subarus for our market and not expecting the Levorg for now. Mine will probably be the first in the island. This is interesting ; you purchase a car from japan directly, for Jamaica. I assume Subaru is not present in Jamaica, or not proposing the Levorg over there, and Jamaica regulations do allow you to buy a car and import it easily.
Could you tell us more about how registering JDM cars works in Jamaica ?
[edit]Also, Welcome !
We drive on the left.Out of curiosity, on which side of the road do you drive ? I mean, with driving on the right, it's easier to have the steering wheel on the left side of the car. Are you guys driving on the left side of the road ? Or you decided to drive on the right side of the road with the steering wheel on the wrong side, and go along with it ?
Thanks! My 5th Subaru. Need to sell my 07 Legacy Sti now. Just got my shipping date from Japan. Not till June 24!!! Won't arrive in Ja till July 22. The wait is killing me!Subaru following in Jamaica is insane! Much respect and congrats on the purchase!
