Idle Relearn - How to do with stock headunit and daytime running lights?

Hi all,

Sorry to ask this - believe me, I have searched high and low for answers with no luck.

How do I do an Idle Relearn on my MY16 2.0l Levorg when the headunit and daytime running lights automatically turn on?

My understanding is that they cannot be on under any circumstances for the Relearn to work properly. I have seen almost every video on YouTube, but none of them talk about headunits which automatically turn on. I tried to do the Relearn, but I had to manually turn the headunit off after I turned the car on - I think this compromises the Relearn process.

Can someone provide stock Levorg specific instructions on how to do this?

You could always pull a fuse for the radio

Yep, the fuse.

Alternatively, as the re-learn is to re-establish a basemap with the lowest engine load possible, you can still dimm the screen to lowest, and mute audio.

Not ideal, but will still help a bit ?
