Hi Toryg, I guess we all see value in different ways. Blingworks product seems to be reliable, fits perfectly and has good reviews. Some may also say that the $700 I spent wrapping all of the chrome is a waste of money also. But I view cars as a health hobby, so am happy with what I pay(after much research of course). :)
Couldn't agree more. I have done the LED's external and Internal, I am in the process of doing all the chrome, thought I would reply as there is a much easier, cheaper and long lasting way. I will be Plasti Dipping all the chrome, the badges, Tail Light, Alloys and possibly the Turbo scoop to Satin Black (My Levorg is Grey) I am also ordering the Full turbo back Invidia Q300 exhaust (Plasti Dip the cans and tips to satin black) and getting it tuned. Estimates are around 50Kw and 80Nm more. Will post some pick when done. I am trying to completely black out the Levorg :)

I bought the Blingworks kit late last year & have been very happy with it (have used in poor weather conditions too) - didn't worry about the LED indicators.
Interior bulbs I got from eBay - for very little money - as in $25 delivered & the kit did every conceivable bulb & number plates - all installed (I had the LED boot door lights installed & it was awful to have cool white vs. yellow in the boot area). It is how the car should have come from Subaru (among other changes)
Have ordered the LED DRL to replace the chrome "slash" in the bumper...once fitted will post up here...that did cost a bit more & tool me a few months to bite that bullet!
The bulb change was easy too - just read the Subaru manual :D

One suggestion - buy an interior panel removal tool (or I have a trusty cake slicer - no joke - very thin metal but strong as - it's all I use it for now) for the stubborn parts - most autoparts store sell them
What did you end up paying for the LED to replace the Chrome Slash, and where did you get it from mate. Thanks Nick

Nick: I'm guessing she bought it from japanparts, which are currently around the $500-$550 mark. IMO they are worth the upgrade and looks heaps better

Thanks Dee. That's where I saw them too. I have already removed my Chrome ones. I may fill the holes it left and plasti dip the whole until satin black to match everything else I am doing.

Nice, but I think for the extra 200 odd $ (that includes shipping) I would stick to Local. I also order my exhaust through propped so I have a relationship with them.

Thanks for the info though.

Hi
Yes japan parts was the source for the LEDs. Did quite a bit of damage to the credit card.
Re the MCAs, from running them on another car, I'd go the XRs. Just about to buy them for my mx5, so the Levorg may just have to wait its turn.
I agree the rear does bounce alot on rough roads, was on a fast road trip with some friends over the weekend and they commented about the bounce from their cars.

They house both the fog lights (top) and the DRL's (bottom).

To check that they work ok, test in daylight outside. Make sure ur headlights are on auto or off NOT on. Turn the fog lights off.

You need to put her in drive and drive forward a bit for the DRL's to turn on initially as they only come on when you start driving. Then shift to park and jump out take a look. The bottom pair should be lit.

Hi Legends!

Old thread, but thought I'd add my mods done today. Have always disliked the yellowish awful haze on Subaru OEM globes... Big shoutout to BLINGWORKS for the DRL and FOG bulbs, absolute quality products, a breeze to fit and what a difference!
Before and after with Fogs first 2 then DRLs last. Bright as F#$k love the result ⚡

They did my Levorg as well! Great service and highly recommend. You've reminded me to order the LED upgrade for inside the car!

They're also running an eBay special using code BUY10OFF (non ebay member) or P12OFF (eBay plus member) right now.

Hey there, great to hear, LOVE the difference! Its how it should have come from factory IMO. Being an STI and all....

Subaru dropping the ball on a few things here and there... However could be worse, like Jeep worse lol.

I had some leftover LEDs from my WRX so ive done the interior lights with those. Fully recommend getting the horrible yellow out of the cabin also, even my kids commented on how much brighter it is.

:D:D:)

Ok, I'll bite. I bought the LED DRL replacement from Blingworks (among other things), and they are so bright they are really annoying for other drivers even during the day. Very glarey.

Since I can't get them to stay on at night to assist the Hight beams and they come on during the day and are a danger since you can't turn them off, what is the point? I have removed them, don't see why anyone would want them, except to get rid of the yellow colour.

Hi guys, just thought I'd post an update with pics of 5 front light options(drl, c-light, c-light+fog, c-light+Low beam+fog, c-light+low beam+high beam+fog) and rear de-badge. Also, have just started using Final Inspection Gloss Boost after washing - the depth is amazing.
How did you get them all to come on together??

Front drls and fog lights are in the same housing, The light switch stalk has a dial to turn on the fog lights, that turns off the driving lights and turns on the fog lights, you can't have the fog and drls on at the same time ;)
P.S My differ with different years, but if you DON'T have your headlight switch on auto, and use off instead, then the drls don't come on, so you can turn them off in that way

I also have used blingworks for the interior lights! Awesome! Another thing to think about is we only have 1 reverse light, so I had them upgrade that to a high powered LED helps when you are backing into a dark driveway or parking spot!
