Can anyone of you guys describe, preferably with photos how to actually take of the front bumper?

I can't, as I did this without taking it off.

Just look up how to remove the wrx bumper, any model after 2014 should do it. Just remember to tie some string around the washers before you remove the covers, because when you put the bumper back on you need to pull them out of the bumper to put the covers back on!!
