Hi all,
Looking for some advice.
I purchased a 2016 GT-S from a dealer over the weekend. I had the car inspected and triple checked before purchase.
I test drove the car close to 90 minutes on all roads and noticed no issues.
Picked up the car, drove it home and on the way I noticed in what would be from gears 1- 3 the boost would kick in and I would notice the car would have issues ( finding a gear ) or shudder a bit at say 3-4 k rpm. Note that the car also has a turbo back exhaust and new headers ( previous owner replacement noted on a service - unknown issue) .
After reading all I can online I am thinking the CVT must be shot with the additions of the exhaust and the new headers..
Any opinions or feedback are welcome.
side note..I have also taken it to subaru who think it isn't the CVT and it could be a turbo / o2 issue.
ive got it booked back in next week for a deeper assessment
Cheers
