I believe I met you the other day in the Lygon court underground carpark. I had the Blue levorg. Would I be correct?
I forgot who you said tuned your car, so was hoping to bump into you again!
Yes you did meet me there. I had a tune & later an Invidia downpipe plus another tune done at HpF in Dandenong. https://www.hp-f.com.au/
I just checked their website & their prices have gone up since I was there. They did a very good job & I am still happy with what they did, (for example - they are aware of the gearbox limitations)- but it would be worth doing a price check.

Rehashing an old thread, but have you had any issues long term since the tune has been done?
Sent MRT an email not long ago and they said not to do the tune as they have found it can cause issues.
The example I was given sounded like the person was flogging the shit out of their car though.
No issues at all. Although, given COVID lockdowns, I have been driving a bit less. I don't do stupid things like launches, but I will put my foot down sometimes & the car goes as well as it did the day I got the work done. My only fear had been what I thought was a lack of a CVT transmission cooler, but after visiting and enquiring about 3rd party CVT coolers, a mechanic shone a torch though my grill and pointed out that Levorgs come with CVT coolers. Wasn't I the dickhead. I think they are the same ones the S4 WRXs have.

Great. Thank you. So just the tune and downpipe? Not a stage 1 or 2?

Awesome to hear. What's the fuel economy like? Better or worse? I don't drive mine a lot. Have a work truck so no need to drive everyday.

After a performance tune - plus about 15KW at the wheels, a much better torque curve (got rid of that dead spot at 4k or so) & better fuel economy when driven normally. After a new downpipe and an updated tune - another about 13k at the wheels for a total of 27 or 28kw, and slightly worse than standard fuel economy

Yes, just a different downpipe and a revised tune. Nfi what that means in terms of stages. HPF had their standard packages then which included an air intake. I was sceptical of the benefits of that. They did put a different airfilter with the first tune & up the fuel to 98. I was told by them a downpipe would give better performance benefit than a cat back exhaust, (I was not interested in noisier mufflers) so I took their advice & the updated tune & dp was cheaper than their package with a cat back exhaust and new air intake.
