What's your Weekender or Project Car?

I thought that I'd start a thread about the weekender, project car or other toy you may have in your garage.

I'll kick it off, my weekend is this a 1999 Nissan Skyline GTR V Spec. Its been my dream car since the late 90's when Grand Turismo was all the rage.
The modification list is extensive, so I won't bore you with the details, but to summarise its producing 416KW at all 4 wheels and still retains twin turbos (not the factory ones of course)

It's fun car to take out on the weekend, although it isn't terribly comfortable on long drives.

It's been sitting in my garage for the last 1.75y, and I'm slowly rebuilding the 4K engine.

Thanks Andyh3, love the VR4 by the way! I was riding a 08 Yamaha R1 up until I bought GTR, which was great fun and scary as F*ck when you cracked open the throttle.

KP61! Geez you don't see many of those running around anymore. That's the early 80's model isn't it?

Yep, end of 70' up to early 83.

Pics from when I bought it. bumpers are now black, I got white wheels for trackdays, and factory steelies for regular use (when the engine isn't blown up ). (and the driver on the 2nd pic is a friend who was with me to pick it up)

I have a small Renault Wind Convertible 1.6 petrol, only around 2,000 were sold in the UK.


My son's Renault Alpine work car is a bit quicker than mine though, he works for the F1 team. (2nd from right)

Very nice. I used to have this classic Turbo 2000 wagon as my daily, with PPP, Prodrive Bilsteins, and Rays TE37s. Best handling car I've ever had.

Nice classic wagon , I've always been into Subaru's just money stopping me having some of the versions I've wanted, I used to have a black Hawkeye that I used daily , that was an awesome car too .
