Picked up my Levorg on Wednesday, took a long 2 months to get to me.
We are about to see a lot more of these in NZ as we like to import Japanese ex lease Vehicles
I suspect the price for the 2.0l Levorg will go up once people get used to seeing these.
I come from the 2l Turbo JDM Legacy Gen 4 BL Sedan.
The power is comparable in the levorg, however moving from a manual to CVT will be a different experience.
I’m loving the increased boot space :p and the radar cruise control. The side camera is great for getting into a tight garage.
I have swapped the stereo for a car play Sony unit, Took a while but got the steering wheel controls to work.
I’m Planning to do:
a chrome blackout, either through Plasti dip or Wrap.
Aftermarket wheels, same size as christchurch roads are unforgiving on thin rubber.

The new Sony is great it came in with an aftermarket Japanese head unit, so the switch was easy. I have no comparison to the stock setup, but i am happy with the sound coming out of it. CarPlay (and i assume android auto) is a game changer tho.

I brought my old Sony head unit into my Vorg. Had an aftermarket anyway. Brought my amp and sub over too. CarPlay etc. No looking back. What wheels you thinking of switching to? I'm up here in Auckland but she's a firm ride at times and quite unforgiving, but it seems that's the shocks going by threads in here. But yeah wheels. what you thinking?

Ha I see you got wheels already. Look forward to hearing what you got.

New Wheels are on, DTM (I think this is a New Zealand brand, however similar rims exist in the market) Syrio 18x8 42p offset. I fitted the standard tyres at 225/45. Loaded 250kg in the back and drove around, No rubbing. will post more pics up once this storm passes.

Have found a second hand Fujitsubo Authorize S Axle Back exhaust setup for cheap so hoping to pick that up today.

Bit of weekend work. Painted callipers and fitted exhaust. Exhaust note is slightly louder than stock. No drone at highway

Nice work, exhaust looks like Invidia Q300 is it?
Good job on the calipers, did you remove them to paint, or just mask up?
What's the name of that colour red?

Exhaust is Fujitsubo Authorize S Axle back. Someone had crashed a 1.6 levorg with it so got it for $200 bolted straight on. Brackets pads and clips were all removed. Kept calliper attached as i was lazy. Duplicolour calliper red(no colour code, barcode says calliper red) didnt prime so did about 5 coats of that. And then a duplicolour gloss clear calliper paint, for 3 coats. If you are thinking of doing it make sure you have some calliper slider grease(i used permatex green) handy as you will need to relube the pins on the rears.also remember to remove the e brake wire from the rears. Dont want that going off accidently. Cleaning with a wire brush/toothbrush dramatically improves the outcome.
